Here’s my latest list of what gets me by when I head into the woods for a solo 2 night canoe trip with my dog.
Note: The total weight of around 89lbs is the total weight including
food, water, camera gear, dog gear and canoeing gear… including the canoe!. This is basically what I would be carrying on a portage.
The actual base pack weight with no camera gear, dog gear, food, water or canoeing gear is just over 25lbs.
